The Museum of the Mountain Man of Pinedale, Wyoming preserves the history of the mountain men and Rocky Mountain fur trade era of the early 1800s.

One of only two fur trade museums in the country, the Museum of the Mountain Man depends on generous support to continue research and education on this important topic in American Western history.
